Nokia X6 Mobile Phone Review

Nokia released the X6 in November last year. It is without doubt Nokia’s best touchscreen phone yet. Every feature has been designed to work brilliantly, and be just that little bit better than the competition. It comes equipped with quick access to social networking applications and unlimited downloads from the Nokia’s Ovi store. Whether it’s social network applications, picture, video or music applications, or a wealth of games, they’re all just a touch away.


The Nokia X6 has favourable dimensions that measure 111 x 51 x 13.8 mm and weighs just about 122g including the battery. It looks quite similar to the Nokia XpressMusic 5800, but the feature that X6 have made a few improvements. Starting from the top, the TFT capacitive touchscreen is of 3.2 inches in size with 640 by 360 pixels resolution and offers 16.7 million colours, it takes up the majority of the handset. These are three buttons below the screen. There are the call and end buttons on the left and right, and the menu button in the middle.

The Nokia X6 runs on latest Symbian 9.4 Operating System with S60 5th Edition software which makes it functioning very fast and effective. For clicking beautiful moments, the handset provides an alluring 5 mega pixel camera that works wonderfully well with the help of its functionalities like Carl Zeiss Optics, Auto Focus and Dual LED Flash.

Music is the prominent highlight of the Nokia X6, the device has an excellent music player that can play diverse types of music files. The Playlist DJ gives you four sliders, representing happiness, love, anger and tranquillity, and the idea is you slide them around depending on your mood to generate a playlist to suit you.


Apart from the great features, the device is also carrying few cool business features as well. It gets internet connectivity via 3G HSDPA, HSCSD, Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPRS and EDGE. The 1,320mAh battery in the Nokia, it makes sure that users with 420 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talk time.
