The improved homescreen is a start but there are still a lot of issues that need fixing like the scrolling and that annoying one-click-two-click mismatch. Nonetheless the Samsung i8910 managed to impress us and left us eagerly wanting more. And hey, we haven't forgotten we need to come back with those still and video samples.

Nokia E52

Eseries seem to have been around forever: grown-up, confident and reliable. It's a small but solid lineup that's gone a long way from a fairly late start. Eseries are less likely to obsess fans really - they're more into serving customers. And here they go again: the Nokia E52 looks well set to reward that once an Eseries, always an Eseries user attitude.

Nokia E52 specs:
Dimensions: 116 x 49 x 9.9 mm

Weight: 98g
Display: 2.4 inches, TFT screen, 240 x 320 pixels resolution and 16M colours, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate
Sound: 3.5mm audio jack and with stereo speakers
Memory: 60MB of inbuilt memory and the MicroSD up to 16GB
Call records: Detailed, max 30 days
Connectivity: via GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth and v2.0 microUSB
Camera: 3.2 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, enhanced fixed focus, LED flash
Operating system (OS): Symbian OS, S60 rel. 3.2
CPU: ARM 11,600 MHz processor
GPS: Yes, with A-GPS support; Nokia Maps 3.0
Battery: Li-lon 1500 mAh
Stand-by: Up to 672 h (2G) / Up to 432 h (3G)
Talk time: Up to 8 h (2G) / Up to 6 h (3G)
Music play: Up to 40 h

The Nokia E52 is a great smartphone, for sure there are better on the market. Although, the camera does not have a massive amount of megapixels, but this doesn’t mean the pictures will be bad quality as there are lots of camera features included here to ensure you pictures come out well. If you are looking for a great smartphone at a reasonable price then you should consider the Nokia E52.

Nokia E71

The E Series from Nokia has traditionally been an uneventful collection of cell phone range but during the last few years has seen a dramatic improvement in its destiny. The Nokia E series has started to look much attractive like its N-series multimedia siblings. The Nokia E71 is the most attractive addition to the Nokia E Series.

Nokia E71 specs:
Dimensions: 114 x 57 x 10 mm
Weight: 127g
Display: 2.36 inches, TFT screen, 320 x 240 pixels resolution and 16M colours, full QWERTY keyboard and five-way scroll key
Sounds: 2.5mm audio jack and with stereo speakers
Memory: 118MB of inbuilt memory and the MicroSD up to 8GB
Connectivity: via GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth and v2.0 microUSB
Camera: 3.15 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
Operating system (OS): Symbian OS v9.2, Series 60 v3.1 UI
CPU: ARM 11,369 MHz processor
GPS: Yes, with A-GPS support and Nokia Maps
Battery: Li-lon 1500 mAh
Stand-by: Up to 410 h (2G) / Up to 480 h (3G)
Talk time: Up to 10 h 30 min (2G) / Up to 4 h 30 min (3G)
Music play: Up to 18 h

The E71 is a tremendously capable business device while not skimping on the fun and games. Anyone who prefers the feel of a real QWERTY keyboard under their thumbs should be placing the E71 firmly at the top of their shopping list.

Samsung i900 Omnia

Since the Samsung i900 Omnia boasts loads of character and personality it's no wonder it holds the crowd hooked ever since it was announced. The first five megapixel Windows Mobile cameraphone has inspired quite a following and now that it's already market available in Europe we are more than happy to welcome the Omnia back after a well deserved breather. Everything about the device speaks "high-tech" - from the innovative touch interface through the rich connectivity and multimedia capabilities to the exclusive hardware characteristics such as the optical touchpad or the 5 megapixel camera.

Nokia N79

In typical S60 fashion, a lot of the core functionality from older models remain, while new and improved features are seamlessly integrated on top. The Nokia N79 runs on Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, and as expected there are a lot of things that remind one of older models with the same operating system.

Nokia N79 specs:
Dimensions: 110 x 49 x 15 mm
Weight: 97g
Display: 2.4 inches, TFT screen, 240 x 320 pixels resolution and 16M colours, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and touch-sensitive Navi wheel

The good news with Nokia N79 is the Nseries haven't completely run out of inspiration. No gaps in the feature set and distinct looks do sound right for a healthy demand. Solid value as a brand-loyal upgrade and little competition let the N79 hope for quite a success.

HTC S740

In terms of design, the S740 borrows heavily from HTC's recent
Touch Diamond, which is no bad thing, as that's a seriously stylish handset. The slide-out keyboard is one of the phone's best features. The keypad may be small, but the keys are easy to type on using your thumbs, making it quick to tap out emails or text messages. The back of the phone is made of a different material that is softer to the touch than the glossy metallic finish on the front of the phone. It is also slightly beveled in a "diamond" pattern that provides a nice grip in the palm of your hand.

HTC S740 specs:
Dimensions:
116.3 x 43.4 x 16.3 mm
Weight: 140g
Display: 2.4 inches, TFT screen, 240 x 320 pixels resolution and 65K colours, Auto-sliding full QWERTY keyboard
Memory: 256MB of inbuilt memory and the MicroSD
Connectivity: via GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth and v2.0 mini USB
Camera: 3.2 MP, 2048x1536 pixels
Operating system (OS): Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard
CPU: Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz processor
GPS: Yes, with A-GPS support
Battery: Li-lon 1050 mAh
Stand-by: Up to 400 h
Talk time: Up to 6 h 20 min

The HTC S740 is a beautifully designed, well made, solid device that offers snappy performance with Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. The specs are impressive enough to appeal to almost anyone, but it is aimed primarily at the consumer who wants a stylish looking device that says something about their hip lifestyle.

Nokia N86

Nokia N86 not only the built-in 8 million pixels, is also equipped with a Symbian operating platform for smart, stylish slider design dynamic, combined with high-end configuration, this phone is in the eyes of consumers is very much worth having a cell phone.

To begin with stating the obvious, the Nokia N86 8MP only brings one major upgrade over the N85. But it's the kind that is likely to make the handset a hot seller. Looks like quite a lot of people will be eager to buy Nokia's first 8 megapixel cameraphone.

Nokia N86 specs:
Dimensions: 103.4 x 51.4 x 16.5 mm
Weight: 149g
Display: 2.6 inches, AMOLED screen, 240 x 320 pixels resolution and 16M colours, Accelorometer sensor for auto-rotate and scratch-resistant surface
